This networking session is targeted at penultimate students and fresh graduates. Through this talk, I promoted the great working environment at OCBC and encouraged the audience to consider joining the family. I invited speakers from OCBC’s Global Corporate Banking, Global Consumer Financial Services and Global Treasury to share about their experiences thus far. In the panel discussion which I played the role of the moderator, we addressed concerns of the audience, gave potential hires a clearer picture of their possible career journey and the programmes available at OCBC.

Launched for the first time at Singapore Polytechnic, My Money @Campus is a carnival organized by MAS and SMU. Graced by Education Minister Ong Ye Kung, this year’s carnival was a futuristic- themed financial literacy carnival. The launch involved introducing our valued partners and having our leaders share the need for increased financial literacy awareness. The afternoon following the launch was spent pulling in thecrowd, sharing about various financial literacy concepts, interviewing the participants and facilitating the games.

Starting from last year, SMU has refined its admission exercise by segmenting our applicants into 3 groups, and engaging each group differently. One group comprising of top applicants are invited to attend engagement sessions, termed Discovery Day. The LKCSB Discovery day was a platform for top applicants and their parents to gain insight on what the school had to offer. I introduced keynote speakers from the relevant undergraduate offices, as well as the LKCSB students, graduates and parents of graduates. The event was held in the School of Law and was attended by over 500 applicants and their parents.

As the host, I facilitated the launch ceremony, the apartment tours and the food competition that followed.

As a solo host, I pulled in the crowd, shared about various financial literacy concepts, interviewed Citi-SMU members as well as participants and facilitated the games. As an actress in their promotional video, I shared about the #FinLitChallenge and Citi-SMU’s annual symposium.

The emcees kept the hub alive by encouraging passers-by to participate in ongoing games and the lucky draw.
